WARREN, Ohio - Investigators are looking for the cause of a deadly house fire in Warren.

City firefighters were dispatched to a home on the 1700 block of Victoria Street SW just after flames broke out in the living room at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Rescuers from Warren Township and Lordstown were also called out after neighbors pulled a man from the burning home.

The victim, a 72-year-old man whose name has not yet been released, was taken to a Warren hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Warren Fire Chief Ken Nussle says there appears to be nothing suspicious about the fire. Chief Nussle tells us the home suffered an estimated $20,000 in damages, but the fire was mostly contained to the living room where it originated.

21 News is working to find the victim's name and the cause of the fire.
