A just-released video shows the moment an Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser crashed into a pickup truck in Boardman.

The dashcam video from the cruiser was recorded as the Patrol and local police were trying to find an SUV stolen from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport on August 4. Speeds in that pursuit reached 140 miles per hour.

A trooper trying to locate the stolen SUV was driving along Route 224 in Boardman when a pickup truck pulled into the cruiser’s path at South Avenue.

The truck spun around and flipped over, damaging the front of the cruiser.

The video shows people getting out of their cars, and rushing to help the Trooper and those in the truck.

The Highway Patrol says a Trooper and two people in the pickup truck went to hospitals with minor injuries.

Twenty-three-year-old Makale Scruggs of Cleveland, who was the target of the chase, eventually crashed the SUV in Butler County, Pennsylvania.  Scruggs faces charges in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
