A two-vehicle accident in Warren on Tuesday caused one driver to lose control of their vehicle and crash into a building.

According to the police report, a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo turned left onto Summit Street from Mahoning Avenue around 4:26 p.m., when it struck the driver's side of a vehicle also turning west onto Summit Street.

After striking the other vehicle, the Aveo crossed over the center line, struck the curb, proceeded across the grass, and crashed into a building in the 800 block of Mahoning Avenue.

The driver of the Aveo was cited in the incident.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the business sustained damage to its exterior wall.
