Grand jury declines to indict suspect in Warren homicide

A Trumbull County grand jury has declined to indict a man who was accused of murdering a 35-year-old man in a home in Warren.
According to a grand jury report, the grand jury returned a no-bill 19-year-old Kyair Kyser who was believed to have shot and killed 35-year-old Howard Dorsey in a home on Lover's Lane near Northwest Boulevard.
A caller told dispatchers she saw two people run out of the house after shots were fired. Police found Dorsey laying on the dining room floor. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
At this time, it is unclear what the status of this investigation is or if police or prosecutors have any other suspects in mind in this case.
We've reached out to prosecutor Gabe Wildman, who is handling this case, for more information and are waiting to hear back.
