Some bad news for folks looking to enjoy a night remembering one of the most popular musicians in the 80's.

Packard Music Hall has announced it is cancelling its event "The Life and Music of George Michael," due to unforeseen circumstances.

The event was supposed to happen Friday, September 27.

It looked to track George Michael's career from his early beginnings in Wham! to his solo career via a live concert.

Tickets can be refunded at Ticketmaster.com, according to the venue.
