Cedar Point looks to hire 7,000 seasonal workers

Cedar Point, the self-proclaimed “Roller Coaster Capital of the World,” plans to hire 7,000 seasonal associates for its 2025 season, which begins in May. The park will hold a week-long hiring event from Feb. 15-22, coinciding with a larger recruitment effort by parent company Six Flags Entertainment Corporation across its North American parks.
Open positions include food and beverage service, ride operators, lifeguards, aquatics staff, security personnel, hotel staff, maintenance workers, and various behind-the-scenes roles.
Hourly pay for employees 16 and older ranges from $13 to $17, based on experience, prior service, and position. Cedar Point offers benefits including discounts on food and merchandise, reward and recognition programs, employee-only park events, ride nights, a cafeteria with discounted meals, on-site housing for qualifying individuals, and free admission to all Six Flags parks.
The park will host in-person open house hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Feb. 15-22, at the Cedar Point Hiring & Training Center, 2206 Cleveland Road West, Sandusky. Applicants may apply and be hired the same day. Applications are also being accepted online at cedarpoint.com.
