Pennsylvania Representative Marla Brown announces that Wilmington Township will receive a $497,630 grant to go towards infrastructural projects.

"These investments are key to fostering safer travel and creating a more resilient community," said Brown.

The grant comes from the Multimodal Transportation Fund managed by the Commonwealth Financing Authority. The fund seeks to help support local and regional transportation improvements throughout Pennsylvania.

The money will go towards a road paving and bridge replacement project that is seen as vital to enhancing safety and upholding long-term economic development in the area.

Rep. Brown says the grant awarded towards the project is "a win for public safety and the local economy."
