The special events coordinator for the City of Youngstown has released the schedule of downtown events for March and April 2025.

The schedule includes First Fridays Youngstown events on March 7 and April 7. The March event, hosted by SMARTS, will be held at 24 E. Boardman St. from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The April event, hosted by Oh Wow!, will be held at 15 Central Square from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day celebrations will include a party and concert featuring RDNA at The Varsity Club, 131 West Commerce St., from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on March 15. Also on March 15, Shamrock on the Block will be held at the N. Phelps Street Gateway from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Laying of the Roses, honoring Vietnam veterans, will be held at the monument in Central Square on March 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Federal Frenzy will be held on West Federal Street and Phelps Street on April 26 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The events are intended to support local businesses and provide community activities.
