Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on the Ohio Turnpike in Mahoning County early Thursday.

The crash occurred in the westbound lanes near the Interstate 680 interchange in Beaver Township just after 4:30 a.m.

Ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The right westbound lane was closed while first responders investigate.

The extent of the injuries and the cause of the crash were not immediately available.
