Canfield's tournament run ends in regional semifinal

The Cardinals fell to Warrensville Heights, 50-40.

Canfield fell to Warrensville Heights, 50-40, in the Division IV Regional Semifinal Thursday at Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.

The Cardinals held a 12-9 lead after the first quarter and trailed 25-22 at halftime. The Tigers kept the lead throughout the second half.

Jake Delisio led Canfield with 18 points in the loss.

The Cardinals finish the season at 21-5 overall. Warrensville Heights advances to Saturday's regional final to play Cleveland Glenville.
