Kennedy Catholic's Layke Fields earned Pennsylvania Sports Writers Class 2A Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

It's the third year in a row Fields has received the honor. The Robert Morris commit averaged over 22 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks during her senior campaign.

Fields racked up over 2,000 career points and captured two state titles with the Eagles.

Kennedy Catholic's Bella Magestro was named to the all-state second team along with Wilmington's Lia Krarup.

In Class 4A, Grove City's Izzie Gamble was a third team pick.
