MAHONING COUNTY, Ohio - Jason Moore, a RAMTEC robotics instructor working with students at Mahoning County Career & Technical Center (MCCTC) has just earned FANUC iRVision Certification.

This credential will allow him to teach and certify students looking to get into robotics on Infrared Vision.

"This is going to be awesome for my students," said Moore. "The ability to certify them in IR Vision gives them a competitive edge in the field of robotics and automation. It's a huge step forward for our program."

Moore needed to submit a recorded lesson demonstrating how to operate FANUC's IR Vision system.

FANUC will be sending an official certificate and a banner with "ROBOT CERT" across it both to MCCTC along with customized certification templates for students.
