LISBON, Ohio - Thunderstorms moving through Columbiana County on Wednesday afternoon left hundreds without power, with outages reported across various townships and municipalities.

FirstEnergy reported 416 homes and businesses affected as of Wednesday evening. Salem Township was the hardest hit, with 207 customers without electricity. Power is expected to be restored in Salem Township by 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Other areas experiencing significant outages include Perry Township, with 94 customers affected, and Knox Township, with 64 customers out. The estimated restoration for Perry Township is 10 p.m. Wednesday, while Knox Township and several other areas are expected to see power back by 8:30 p.m. These areas include Fairfield Township (19 customers), Leetonia (20 customers), East Palestine (1 customer), and Unity Township (9 customers).

AEP Ohio also reported 45 outages affecting customers in the East Liverpool area following the storms. AEP estimates that power will be back on by 10:30 p.m.

Power has since been restored.
