Youngstown Medicaid provider accused of defrauding nearly $5,000 from program
The AG's Office alleges that 37-year-old Janay Veal continued to bill for services after removing herself from a recipient's plan of care. Additionally, Veal allegedly billed for days in which a relative of the recipient provided the services.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A Youngstown woman is among 13 Medicaid providers indicted for allegedly defrauding money from the program.
According to a press release from the Ohio Attorney General's Office, 37-year-old Janay Veal of Youngstown is charged with Medicaid fraud, as well as a felony theft charge.
The AG's Office alleges that Veal continued to bill for services after removing herself from a recipient's plan of care. Additionally, Veal allegedly billed for days in which a relative of the recipient provided the services.
In all, Veal is accused of stealing $4,923 from Medicaid.
According to Franklin County cour records, Veal is scheduled to be arraigned July 9.
