WARREN - The second defendant who pleaded guilty to his role in the robbery of a vape shop in Warren is set for sentencing on Thursday.

Court records show 19-year-old Kelly Sexton (pictured above on left) is scheduled to appear in Judge Ronald Rice's court for sentencing at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 12.

Sexton pleaded guilty in January to a third-degree felony count of Robbery in connection with a robbery at the Vapor Kings vape shop on Elm Road NE in Warren back in July of 2025.

Police said a juvenile suspect wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask went into the store, brandished a gun and demanded items from the cashier. The robber got away with two jars of hemp flower and a carton of cigars.

Both Sexton and his co-defendant, 19-year-old Alivia Spitzer, drove the juvenile to and from the store.

Spitzer was sentenced to three years of probation for her role in the crime earlier in March. You can read more about her sentence in our related coverage below.
