Another bargaining session is scheduled for today to try and keep 280 steel workers in Warren off the picket line.

A spokesperson for United Steel Workers local 35-23 says the union voted overwhelmingly Monday to strike, if necessary.

The union is trying to reach a new contract with Thomas Steel Strip Corporation.

The current deal expires at the end of the month.
