The first work day of the new year begins with a leadership dispute at Teamsters Union Local 377 in Youngstown.
Police were called to the union hall when Secretary-Treasurer Bob Bernat refused to turnover the keys and offices to a new slate of officers. Bernat says the results of the October election were set-aside by the district-council after two members of the challengers group were cited for corruption during the election campaign.
Bernat says he's waiting for the international to decide who should be in office until a new election held.
No arrests were made, and both sides remain at the hall, waiting for a decision from the International Union.
