Escaped Alabama prison inmate found and captured in Alliance
ALLIANCE, Ohio - A convicted murderer was captured after escaping from an Alabama prison and fleeing to a neighboring Mahoning Valley community.

ALLIANCE, Ohio - A convicted murderer was captured after escaping from an Alabama prison and fleeing to a neighboring Mahoning Valley community.
Timothy Richards, serving a life sentence without parole in Alabama, escaped from prison on April 8th.
The U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force in Akron and Youngstown conducted surveillance following tips that Richards may be in the Alliance area.
The man was taken into custody without incident around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
