JEFFERSON, Ohio - Four individuals, including three party hosts, have been charged in connection to an Ashtabula County drunk-driving death.

The charges stem from the June 4th accident which took the life of 20-year-old Alexandria Struhar.  Ohio Highway Patrol investigators say the other driver in the crash, 18-year-old Adam Wright of Geneva, had just left a Harpersfield Township house party and was intoxicated at the time.

An Ashtabula County Grand Jury indicted Tracie Pascoe, Marilou Tipton, and Jacob Pascoe along with the driver in the accident on Tuesday.  Although none of the first three suspects were in car during the fatal accident, investigators say they all played roles at the party which may have led to the crash.

Tracie Pascoe, 49, is charged with one count of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of furnishing alcohol to underage persons after she allegedly supplied the beer, ice, and coolers to be consumed at the June 3rd party.

Marilou Tipton, 71, was indicted on one count each of involuntary manslaughter and furnishing alcohol to an underage person after investigators say she was aware of the party and allowed it to take place at her residence.

Jacob Pascoe, 18, was also charged with one count each of involuntary manslaughter and furnishing alcohol to underage persons as well as one count of obstructing official business.  J. Pascoe is accused of arranging the party and later contacting party-goers in an attempt to avoid implicating his mother, Tracie Pascoe, and his grandmother, Marilou Tipton in any wrongdoing.

The Highway Patrol says that this is the first time in Ohio that a trace-back investigation, one that follows the source of alcohol, led to involuntary manslaughter charges.

The accident's driver, Adam Wright, was also indicted by the Grand Jury on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, two counts of operating a motor vehicle under the influence, and one count of underage consumption.

Wright, according to the Ashtabula County Prosecutor's office, consumed several cans of beer at the Pascoe/Tipton residence and smoked marijuana which he allegedly provided.

After leaving the party, authorities say Wright's vehicle ran a stop sign while speeding, struck another car, and killed Struhar, its driver.

Investigators at the scene found Wright's blood alcohol level to be 0.173, more than 8 times the legal limit for an underage person.  The prosecutor's office says that his urine also tested positive for marijuana.

No court date has yet been set for the four, but they will be seen in the Ashtabula Court of Common Pleas.
