Three people died from suspected heroin overdoses over the weekend in Warren, where police believe a bad batch of the drug is circulating.

Warren police responded to a total of 11 apparent heroin overdoses from Thursday through Monday morning.

Warren Township police are dealing with a similar situation, where two people were taken to the hospital Friday night for suspected heroin overdoses. 
Narcan kits were used to revive those who overdosed.

Warren city and Warren Township police say the common thread among the majority of the overdoses is that the heroin found on the users was pure white in color.
