SALEM, Ohio - The campaign trail to the White House runs through the Valley next week as Republican hopeful Senator Marco Rubio plans a stop.

Rubio has scheduled an appearance at BOC Water Hydraulics,12024 Salem Warren Rd.,Salem on Friday, October 16.

The Senator says he intends to discuss his energy policy ideas at the business which makes water pumps and other water control devices.

The event is being promoted by Ohio State Treasurer Josh Mandel who is openly supporting Rubio's candidacy.

A Qunnipiac Poll released this week shows Rubio in sixth place behind leader Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Ohio Governor John Kasich, Senator Ted Cruz   and former business executive Carly Fiorina.

Doors open at 2 p.m. and the event gets underway at 2:30 p.m.

Those attending must be over 12 years of age and guests are required to RSVP.
