YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown fireman was injured while saving a woman from a burning home on the city's south side.

Firefighters were called to a two-alarm house fire on the 300 block of West Evergreen Avenue shortly after 12:30 on Friday.

After neighbors said that two women were living there, firefighters began searching the two story home.

The firefighter who found one woman inside received minor burns when he rescued her from the house.

The woman was taken to the hospital. Fire officials say her injuries are not serious.

A search of the home did not turn up a second victim.

There's no word on what may have caused the fire.
