WARREN, Ohio - Detectives plan to review surveillance video in hopes of finding out who smashed a window at a Warren pawn shop, then helped themselves to more than $2,000 worth of merchandise.
Police say a passerby noticed the broken window early Wednesday morning at the Cashland on the 1000 block of Elm road NE.
Officers spotted the broken 4 by 8 window and could hear the alarm sounding.
When a manager of the business arrived, police conducted a search, but found no one inside the building.
Investigators believe someone used a lead pipe to smash a glass display case and stole several notebook computers and laptops.
