WARREN, Ohio - Warren Harding product James Daniels is headed to the Windy City.

The Iowa offensive center was selected 39th by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the NFL Draft.

"It means a lot. There's a whole bunch of players in the draft and for that to happen, it means a lot," said a smiling Daniels who was at the Avalon Inn in Warren with family and friends when his name was called.

Daniels is the 23rd player from the Warren City School District to be drafted.

"You have to work hard if you want to get to the NFL," the newest member of the Bears added.

James is the third member of the family to play at the highest level. His father LeShun was in the league as well and his brother, LeShun.

"It shows a lot from my dad for me and my brother. He raised us right and taught us the right things," Daniels said.

Daniels is expected to report to Chicago in the next few days
