HOWLAND TWP., Ohio - The site plan for the Howland Township Parks was revealed Thursday after the community's feedback.

Park commissioners held a public meeting to go over the proposed ideas in the comprehensive plan created by Baker, Bednar and Snyder Associates.

Some of the proposed ideas include adding a 70 car parking lot as well as a community center with a pavilion, hall and amphitheater.

Park commissioner Jessica Gault says the next step will be putting a timeline on the different projects and prioritizing them.

If all of these ideas are brought to life, it would cost about $1.8 million over the course of five years.

The park commissioners have not yet revealed how they plan to fund the project.
