July kicks off with some HOT temperatures!! As the new month rolls in, Sunday's temperatures will near record highs with a forecast high of 95°. The previous record is 96° set in 1931.Make sure to take caution in the hot weather. Heat indices may exceed 100 degrees. 

Though a majority of the week will be dry, there will be a chance to see a few isolated storms throughout the week, and rain possible on Friday.

Though a shower may give us a quick break from the hot sun, temperatures will remain in the 90's throughout the workweek. 

This could turn out be one of the most significant hot spells since hot spell since August 1995, which featured six days of consecutive 90+ degree temperatures.
