Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign begins
All across the country, law enforcement agencies are kicking off the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

COLUMBIANA, Ohio - All across the country, law enforcement agencies are kicking off the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.
The goal throughout the campaign is to emphasize one of the three pillars of traffic safety.
The pillars are speed kills, seat belts save lives, and remove impaired drivers from the road.
Columbiana Police Chief Gladis encourages drivers to consider a designated sober driver if you need to get home after drinking. "We value each of you as friends and community members. We don't want drivers or innocent motorists to be injured or killed in a drunk driving crash"
Chief Gladis adds, "Serious crashes are rare and we don't need to make many OVI arrests. Thanks to all of you who support traffic safety by obeying our traffic laws. It really does make a difference."
The campaign starts on Friday and runs through September 3.
