AUSTINTOWN, Ohio - Two women were arrested in Austintown after police discovered they were involved in prostitution.
According to officers, on Saturday, two Austintown policemen responded to an advertisement titled "Ready to play?!" posing as clients, in hopes of combating any criminal activity that may be going on.
Officials informed that they called the number on the advertisement and a woman answered saying that she and one other woman would do an 'outcall' service by coming to the location of the officers (who were posing as clients).
The women proceeded to ask what the men wanted and told the men it would cost them $200 for one hour of the women's time.
The women met the officers at the 5200 block of Seventy Six Drive in Austintown, believing that they were going to take part in and be paid for sexual acts.
When the women arrived, the officers introduced themselves as Austintown Police and displayed their badges.
According to authorities, the women were identified as 25-year-old Amber Boerio and 28-year-old Mylindsie Allison.
Officers said that they called the number from the add to confirm that these were, in fact, the women posting on the site. Boerio's phone did ring, confirming that it was her they had spoken to.
Officers informed that they also found a plastic bag of marijuana on Allison's person.
Both women were taken into custody.
Boerio and Allison were both charged with Soliciting Sex and Possessing Criminal Tools.
The women will both appear in court on Monday, August 27.
