The weekend gets off to a warm and muggy start with temps topping out in the mid 80s; there's enough moisture, instability and enough of a trigger with a warm front nearby that a stray shower or storm could fire Saturday afternoon - so be aware of that if you're headed out to the Canfield Fair or YSU's home opener against Butler.

Sunday looks even hotter and more humid with highs pushing 90; that trend will continue Labor Day into mid-week with temps around 90 and a very small chance of a shower or storm Sunday and Monday.

That plays into the overall warmer than normal trend into the first half of the month:

A cold front will swing through Thursday with showers and storms, some of which could linger into Friday. Behind the front, temps will fall back into the mid to upper 70s.
