State Police in Mercer County say they believe a medical emergency led to a crash that sent a Wheatland woman to the hospital with serious injuries.

Police say a 58-year-old Dorothy Renn lost control of her station wagon in the parking lot of the State Route 19 Dairy Queen in East Lackawannock Township Friday afternoon.

Her car ran into a parked Chevy Equinox before running into the side of the DQ building and flipping over onto its roof.

First Responders had to remove the doors from the station wagon to rescue Renn who was taken to Grove City Medical Center.

Troopers say Renn was delivering bargain bulletins to businesses at the time of the crash.

There is no update on Renn's condition as of Monday morning.
