OVI checkpoint planned this weekend in Mahoning County

CANFIELD, Ohio - If you plan to celebrate Halloween a few days early, you might want to reconsider if those plans including drinking and driving.
The Mahoning County OVI Task Force announced on Monday that it plans to conduct a sobriety checkpoint sometime during this upcoming weekend of October 26 through October 28.
In addition, local law enforcement agencies will take part in saturation patrols in the Valley.
The task force is expected to release more information about the time and location closer to the checkpoint.
