Traffic is open again to drivers traveling eastbound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after an overnight detour due to an accident between the Beaver Valley and Cranberry interchanges.

Traffic was rerouted for several hours early Tuesday until an accident could be cleaned up at around 5:30 am.

Turnpike officials say the right lane in the area remains closed for construction work.
