YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police say they were called to the scene of a home after an infant was thrown during a dispute between two women over purchases made on Amazon.

Officers say they arrived at the home on the 900 block of Dryden Avenue around 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived at the house, police say they found a woman holding a baby. The woman proceeded to tell police that the infant she was holding was her grandchild.

According to authorities, the woman told them that an argument between her and her daughter, 32-year-old Erin Johnson, had taken place.

The woman told police that Johnson was upset because her sister used her credit card to make purchases on Amazon.

Police say, Johnson, who was holding the infant at the time of the argument, became frustrated during the altercation and lifted the baby above her head and threw the baby onto the couch.

The woman told police that her daughter then picked the baby up and did the same thing a second time.

Officials say that when they tried to speak to Johnson she was very emotional and too upset to carry a conversation. She was visibly upset and crying.

The child was taken to the hospital to be further examined.

Johnson has been charged with child endangering.
