Warren police are investigating reports from people who paid for popcorn for a Warren Little Raider Football fundraiser never received their popcorn, and it appears that a signature may have been forged on one of the checks used to pay for the popcorn.

WARREN, Ohio - Warren police are investigating reports from people who paid for popcorn for a Warren Little Raider Football fundraiser never received their popcorn, and it appears that a signature may have been forged on one of the checks used to pay for the popcorn.
The Vice President of the Little Raiders told police that several people called her saying they hadn't received the popcorn that was sold as part of a fundraiser.
However, the vice president told officers and the callers that the Warren Little Raiders didn't conduct a popcorn fundraiser.
According to the report, one alleged victim said she purchased $28 worth of popcorn from one of her students in September. Not only did she not get the popcorn, but she also says someone forged their name on the check.
The Little Raiders veep also told police that a volunteer assistant coach had asked her if he could organize a popcorn fundraiser to buy new uniforms for the team. But she denied the coach's request.
The fundraising company that the Little Raiders use did receive an order for $283 worth of popcorn, but the order was never filled since the company did not get paid.
Police are still investigating.
