Warren Police say speed a factor in fatal ATV crash
Speed was a factor in an All-Terrain-Vehicle crash that claimed the life of Warren G. Harding student Jeremiah Barnes, and injured a teenage passenger.

WARREN, Ohio - Speed was a factor in an All-Terrain-Vehicle crash that claimed the life of Warren G. Harding student Jeremiah Barnes, and injured a teenage passenger.
According to the traffic report, Warren police estimate that Barnes was driving the ATV about 50 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone when it failed to make a curve on Parkwood Drive NW and struck a utility pole on Friday.
Seventeen-year-old Barnes, who would have been a senior at WGH, was thrown from the ATV and died as a result.
A 13-year-old passenger was also thrown from the ATV. He was treated for minor injuries at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
