YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Some workers in Downtown Youngstown have a squirrel to thank for being able to go home early Tuesday.
A FirstEnergy spokesperson tells 21 News that the squirrel got into the Riverbend Substation at around 8 am and knocked out power to 22 apartments and businesses, including the 21 WFMJ Studios.
Although power was restored within an hour, officials from the Mahoning County Common Pleas Court tell 21 News that their offices are closed for the remainder of Tuesday.
