3 dead, 1 critical after head-on crash near Philadelphia
Police say a head-on crash at an intersection outside Philadelphia killed three people and shut down the road for several hours.

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. (AP) - Police say a head-on crash at an intersection outside Philadelphia killed three people and shut down the road for several hours.
Plymouth Township Police Chief John Myrsiades says just before midnight Thursday officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the five-point intersection nearing Plymouth Meeting, about 15 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
He says the driver of an SUV "failed to negotiate" a curve in the road, crossed the median and smashed into a minivan.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger in the SUV who was ejected from the vehicle also died. A third person who was inside the SUV was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. The victims have not been identified at this time.
