YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A new mental health initiative at Youngstown State University will kick off in late September.

According to the release, four large Penguin Positivity boards will be unveiled across campus.

YSU students Hannah Haynie and Ashley Amendol developed the program.

Haynie said the purpose of the Penguin Positivity boards is to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and to encourage the campus to seek mental health support.

The five-foot boards will be unveiled on September 30 on the second floor of Kilcawley Center on campus.
