BOARDMAN, Ohio -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has announced it will conduct an OVI checkpoint in Boardman tonight.

According to a news release, Troopers and local police will set up the checkpoint from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

The checkpoint will be on Market Street near Ferncliff. 

The checkpoint will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols according to the patrol.

Troopers use OVI checkpoints to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
