Warren woman injured leaping from second floor to escape from police

Warren police say a woman who jumped from a second-story window to escape officers landed in the hospital with a broken arm.
Her arm still in a sling, deputies took a booking photo of 21-year-old Quan'nita Pruitt at the Trumbull County Jail.
Wanted for a probation violation, officers tracked Pruitt's electronic ankle monitor to an apartment on the 500 block of Douglas Street NW late Wednesday morning.
As police were questioning two neighbors who said they had not seen Pruitt, the apartment manager yelled that a woman had jumped from a second-floor window.
Officers chased the woman into a nearby wooded area where she was captured.
According to the police report, it appeared that Pruitt broke her arm during the jump.
Pruitt was treated at St. Joseph Hospital before being booked into the county jail on charges of theft and obstructing official business.
The two neighbors who said they hadn't seen Pruitt were also cited for obstructing official business.
