Emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to cut a man out of a car after it crashed into a building in Youngstown this afternoon.

The car drove into the back of the Belmont Drive-Thru around 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

That business is located at the corner of Belmont Avenue and Wirt Boulevard.

The store manager was outside at the time of the accident and tells 21 News that the car was traveling a high rate of speed.

Before hitting the building, the car allegedly hit a concrete safety post that was sheered completely off.

The driver's condition is unknown at this time, but he has been taken to the hospital.
