Engineering company acquires Fairfield Machine in Columbiana
COLUMBIANA, Ohio - A new engineering company has set its sights on the "Nicest Place in America."
Rockford Engineering Works Ltd. acquired the Fairfield Machine Company located on Lower Elkton Road in Columbiana.
The Fairfield Machine Company has a rich 65-year history in the design, supply, and rebuild of competitively priced leading-edge pipe, bar, and billet processing, and handling equipment.
The management at Rockford has teamed up with Dave MacNeill, President of Fairfield, who will ensure the company's vision and direction continues along with developing synergies between Fairfield and Rockford.
Rockford specializes in project management, equipment supply/fabrication management, and industrial and mechanical engineering.
Working closely with clients to develop specific engineered solutions, Rockford has led teams of up to 30 designers working on projects tailored to specific client requirements.
