Greg Lazerri is set to become the head football coach at Newton Falls for a second time.

The district is expected to announce his official hiring as early as Thursday.

Lazerri was the head coach of the Tigers for four years, from 2009 through 2012.

He was an assistant at Lakeview in 2019 and also worked at Hiram College in 2010.

He's a teacher in the Newton Falls District and replaces Mike Gillespie.
