YOUNGSTOWN - A man and a woman came home early Monday in Youngstown to find their house was shot up.
Officers say they found thirteen bullet holes in both the first and second floor exterior of the wood-frame house on Belle Vista Avenue, just south of Oakwood Avenue.
Police believe the shots were fired at around 3 a.m. when neighbors reported hearing gunfire in the area.
A search of the area turned up one spent round from a large caliber gun outside the home, and another shell casing in the street. According to the police report, officers believe the ammunition is the same type used in an AK-47.
None of the neighbors who reported hearing gunshots said they saw who was firing the shots.
