The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber is joining other chambers in seven states in the Midwest and Great Lakes Region to support a reopening of the economy.

Together the chambers aim to help businesses reopen while keeping their workforce safe.

They say successfully combating the coronavirus will require collaborative action among government, health care officials, businesses and those in the community.

The collaborative effort will support the efforts of Governors in those states to establish coordinated recovery plans to strengthen the economy.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber launched its EMERGE initiative weeks ago to help are businesses navigate the COVID-19 pandemic by offering assistance and daily updates that could effect them.

The collaborative efforts include chambers from Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Michigan and more.
