WEATHERSFIELD TWP., Ohio - Weathersfield Township Board of Trustees has decided to postpone the annual Flag Day Festival that was to be held on June 11, 12, and 13.

Their decision was based on the ban of large public gatherings and was made in the best interest of the public's health, safety, and welfare.

Trustees say it is their hope to have an event this fall, but that will depend on the guidance from Governor DeWine.

The Flag Day Festival was also going to raise money for injured Weathersfield Firefighter, Justin Glaum, who was critically injured working a construction job.
