Residents in Howland may have less mosquito problems throughout the summer in 2020.

The Howland Township Trustees announced that Alexander Pest Control has been contracted to spray for mosquitoes in Howland Township.

The spraying starts from dusk to 5:00 a.m. on the following Monday and Tuesday dates:

June 15
June 16
July 13
July 14
August 10
August 11
September 7
September 8

If it rains on a scheduled spaying day, the pest control teams will return the following evening.

Residents are encouraged to close their windows, keep pets indoors and not to leave any food outdoors during the spraying.
