Warren protesters: 'We want to keep up the momentum'

WARREN, Ohio - The momentum continues in Warren as a few dozen people gathered at Perkins Park to protest.
The group was there Saturday evening fighting against police brutality against those of color.
Organizers said they were also there because of a petition put forth to reform the Warren Police Department.
They said they want to declare racism a public health emergency.
"Racism is killing us almost as the same as the pandemic it seems like," said organizer Ty'Onna Powell. "Every day that you wake up, you look at more COVID cases and you also look at more African Americans who have been killed."
Powell wants to make it clear that they will continue to keep up that momentum to show that these shootings don't just happen once and they will continue to fight for what they believe in.
