Firebomb attempt on Youngstown daycare caught on video

YOUNGSTOWN - Investigators hope someone can help them identify whoever tried to firebomb a home on Youngstown’s South Side that is also a daycare.
Captain Kurt Wright of the Youngstown Fire Investigative Unit has released home surveillance video of someone lighting a firebomb and throwing it at a home at 31 West Glenaven early Monday.
A person inside the home awoke to loud noise.
No children were in the home, which operates as a daycare.
Wright says the Molotov Cocktail did not set fire to the home, and no one was injured.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
The suspect arrived in a dark color SUV.
Although the suspect’s face appears to be covered, investigators hope someone can recognize the clothing.
