COLUMBUS, Ohio - Kanye West has filed a petition to appear as a presidential candidate on the Ohio ballot in November.
According to AP reports, West submitted 14,886 signatures and other paperwork with the Office of the Ohio Secretary of State.
West previously withdrew his petition for candidacy in New Jersey.
The Grammy-Award winning rapper announced his intentions to run for president in July.
The 43-year-old is expected to release his tenth studio album later this year.
